High School Celebrates 100 Years with Premiere of New Film
Preston Lodge High School has officially launched its centenary
year celebrations with the premiere of 100 Voices –
100 Years, a powerful short film capturing a century of school life
and community spirit.
Premiered on Thursday evening in the school’s Assembly Hall, the
15-minute film is the result of a collaboration between filmmaker Jonathan
Charles, school staff member Louise Marr, and five talented PL student
filmmakers.
The film was made possible thanks to the generous funding from
East Lothian Educational Trust, whose support enabled Students to work
alongside industry professionals and develop valuable creative skills.
The celebration evening brought together current and former
students, staff, families and friends of Preston Lodge for a night of film,
live music, refreshments and shared memories.
