We were delighted to welcome Jim and Nita Marr, both former students, for a heartwarming visit that bridged past and present.  

Jim, who was once named Dux of PL, shared fond recollections of his time at PL - stories filled with warmth, humour and happy memories.  Jim spoke about meeting Nita at school, setting the stage for a life lived together ever since. 

As part of their visit, we took a walk down memory lane looking at the school photos - one of them both in their year group proudly displayed in the school's foyer.  The smile on their faces said it all.

Nita and Jim had such a lovely time they joined us later the same evening for the Preston Lodge Christmas Concert.  They particularly enjoyed the Preston Lodge Pipe Band. 

It was a pleasure to host Jim and Nita, who's visit reminded us of the strong and lasting connections so many former students have with Preston Lodge. Their story is a beautiful reflection of the friendships, experiences, and community spirit that continue to define our school - past, present and future.
